Anonymous asked: so, i heard a lot of good things about Deadpool & decided to buy a couple of graphic novels of his. & since you know a lot about him, I was wondering if you could give me a bit of background information? I mean ya I could look it up, but I'm sure you'll put Deadpool in much more awesome light

Deadpool isn’t just a joke character like some writers make him. He DOES have morals. I mean yes.. he is kinda insane (he sees things and hears voices in his head)

he also does nice things now and then.

When the x-men were getting bad press he did some stuff and they had to try and capture him. but he did it for them so they could get some good press for once.

he didn’t agree with something x-force did and he stormed off and wolverine was all ‘fuck him. he just does it for the money’ and then warren was all ‘well actualy he hasn’t cashed a single paycheck i’ve given him’

He couldn’t die as he was in love with death so thanos made it so he could never die as he loves death as well.

one storyline had an evil deadpool made up of parts of him doing bad things.

he’s the merc with the mouth.

not many heroes like him because he is unpredictable and gobby.

but he does get shit done.

he used to be my favourite character but the last i’d say 6-7 issues have been very lame IMO.

You need to read suicide kings and merc with a mouth

i enjoyed prelude to deadpool corps and deadpool corps.

Their illnesses add so much depth.  If written correctly, the writer will allow you to enter the minds of these unique individuals and understand them in a way that their peers never will.
