So.. yesterday on tumblr a few of us were discussing who the greatest villain was/is.
Someone said The Joker and i don’t even think i’d put him in my top ten tbh.
I said Norman Osborn/Green Goblin i then gave a shout out to Black Adam and Doctor Doom. But then this morning it hit me.. There’s one villain who makes even Black Adam look like a wee sissy girl.
The superhero turned villain star of Irredeemable.. The Plutonian!
He was inspired by Superman and possesses the same kind of powers. Only recently was it revealed that he is in fact an alien probe that took on human form.
So.. what are his credentials
let’s see
- murdering a woman and child with his heat vision thingy doodah
- Used his heat zapper to lobotomize his ex partner and best friend
- Used his breath to freeze someone and then shattered them with a whistle
- After he realises the singapore representative was lying to him he goes in to space and throws rocks at the island from space
- He catches good guys trying to save the day and makes them choose only TEN people to save.. because he’s a twat. And then he burns the others that are there
- he then sinks the island by PUSHING it into the earth killing the rest of it’s seven million or so inhabitants
- He’s a bit of a dick
- When someone says they’d give their left arm for you… you’re not supposed to actually take them up on their offer.
- It was his fault that a virus killed thousands of kids.
- No they’re not deaf. They adopted the plutonian when he was about 5 1/2. They were so scared of him they eventually gave him back and since then they’ve never said a word in case he heard them.. and now he’s back to pay them a visit. he wants to know why they loved their handicapped son more than him.
- So he zaps them both when he gets no answers leaving the now older handicapped son without anyone to look after him.
This is all from the first 12 issues (there’s 32 so far)
He has also destroyed the city he once protected and murdered millions of other people.
Now tell me.. Greatest villain or what?
p.s this thread better get some love because it took me a fucking age to make.
